Do you want to help shape the Summit in 2022?

The National Housing Summit will be the defining moment for the housing association sector to come together as one. The conference provides insight, inspiration and the space to have those strategic conversations that make real impact on the issues affecting the whole sector.

We're on the hunt for the best examples of excellence in housing. Whether you want to suggest a topic that needs to covered, shout about a great case study or nominate a speaker on a specific subject, we want to hear about your experiences and insights.

We’re open to other suggestions, but some key areas to think about include:

  • Working with residents
    We’re looking for exceptional approaches from within and outside the sector on how you are working with residents and the local community to improve quality and services.
  • Stakeholder engagement
    Close collaboration with local institutions and politicians is critical to addressing the various challenges we face, from supply to supported housing to health – we’re keen to hear about successes in your region.
  • Tackling climate change
    Social housing contributes 10% of all UK carbon emissions, with a huge amount of work needed to achieve net-zero by 2050. We want to showcase the innovation being shown in UK housing to tackle this truly global issue.

How to make your submission

Please outline:

  • Content – what you hope to convey and achieve.
  • Format – how do you want to communicate your message? Is it a presentation? A case study? Part of a discussion? A workshop?
  • Speakers – who will deliver your session at the conference?
  • Audience – who are you pitching your session at?
  • Takeaways – what do you want delegates to walk away with?

Frequently asked questions

I made a submission earlier this year, will that still be considered?
If you made a submission earlier this year for the event in October there is no need to resubmit. We'll be reviewing those entries alongside the new submissions in November.

When will I receive a response?
We give every submission thorough consideration, so please be patient with us. The Events team will be in contact with you again in August.

What happens if my submission is successful?

A member of the Events team will contact you to discuss further. You will then receive confirmation of the session and attendance details.
